Dana Fitzer, Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker and mother of several children with mental health disorders,
is the Executive Director of ASAP Expert Counseling. Just like Dana, not only are the ASAP therapists highly
trained clinicians, they are regarded as the "best of the best". Teresa Berry is ASAP's Assistant Director. She too
brings an intimate perspective to the agency, as she is the mother and grandmother of children and grandchildren
on the Autism Spectrum.
ASAP is unique in that Dana and/or Teresa typically go out to every family's home, complete a thorough
assessment and intake and design a course of treatment tailored to meet your needs. Then they will carefully
match each client to his or her therapist. Typically, families are offered an initial assessment within five days of
referral. ASAP provides services to both children and adults.

Family Therapy
We believe that most people make more progress when family members participate in therapy. All therapy
sessions are set up on a weekly basis in the comfort of your home. We are available Monday-Sunday,
8 am- 10 pm. Each session typically lasts 60 minutes. Besides being extremely skilled, our therapists are
engaging, creative and often make therapy fun. Play therapy and art therapy techniques are often used. Mostof
our families look forward to seeing their therapist each week.
What Type of Clients do we Serve?
ASAP specializes in working with children and adults who are on the Autism Spectrum. This includes those with
Asperger's Disorder. We also are extremely skilled in working with individuals where are diagnosed as MR/DD/
Many of these individuals also have mental health disorders such as Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit
Hyperactive Disorder, Mood Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorders, Anxiety
Disorders, and RAD.
We also specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, especially complex trauma and DID
(Dissociative Identity Disorder, previously referred to as Multiple Personality Disorder.)
